It is said that the increasing popularity of Amazon’s tablet PCs brings good news to the PCB industry as it has been confirmed that Amazon has increased its PCB orders and the new order has been put into production. PCB makers, such as Yaohua Electronics, Unimicron and HannStar, will benefit from this favorable news.
The HDIs of Amazon’s tablet PC Kindle Fire are supplied by Yaohua Electronics, Jinxiang Electronics, HannStar, Unimicron, Tripod Technology and other PCB manufacturers. It is said that HannStar, Unimicron and Yaohua Electronics account for about 70% of Amazon’s HDI orders.
Relevant printed circuit board plants pointed out that in terms of the technical capacity of any-layer HDI which is widely used in high-end smart phones, PCB maker Unimicron and Yaohua Electronics are the most competitive manufacturers.
