Benefited from Thailand’s flood, listed PCB manufacturer Chin-Poon may receive more orders than former expectation. It is said that the revenue of Chin-Poon in the fourth quarter may remain the same level as the third quarter, reaching almost RMB3.36 billion. According to previous data, the revenue of the fourth quarter would be 5%-10% lower than the result of the third quarter.
Meanwhile, as Chin-Poon’s revenue in the last quarter is expected to maintain the same amount as the third quarter, it is said that even under gloomy economy and depressed market condition, the annual revenue of Chin-Poon in 2011 is likely to reach RMB13 billion, keeping the same record as last year.
The shipments of Chin Poon’s automotive panels reached RMB4.1 billion in the first half of 2011, accounting for 54% of its total revenue in the first half of this year. And Chin Poon becomes the leading manufacturer of auto panels among all the Japanese PCB companies. Influenced by Thailand flood, many PCB plants in Thailand have to close down and normal production can not operate. Part of auto panel orders has been caught by Chin Poon and it helps improve the revenue of Chin Poon in the fourth quarter.
The after-tax profit of PCB manufacturer Chin Poon reached RMB425 million in the third quarter. And the after-tax profit of Chin Poon from January to September reached RMB755 million.
