According to the reports of ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems, Germany’s total revenue of PCB in August reached the third highest record over the past 10 years. Compared with the figures in July, Germany’s revenue of PCB in August has increased by 2%. It is said that the cumulative growth of Germany’s PCB revenue in the first eight months of this year reached 14% over the same period last year.
However, the number of orders has been declining sharply due to the uncertainty of global economy. It is reported that the PCB orders received in Germany hit a lowest record over the past 12 months. Meanwhile, the book-to-bill ratio of Germany’s PCB industry only reached 0.75.
Besides, the employment of Germany indicated a slight increase in August. Even though the unemployment rate of the PCB industry is still higher than the figures before the 2008 financial crisis, the PCB industry has created many job opportunities. The employment of Germany in August has increased by 5.5% over the same period of last year.
