Thailand’s second largest PCB plant KY Trident donated 5 million Baht to the Thailand branch of Tzu Chi Foundation on November 25. It is said that the money would be put into relieving the disastrous flood in Thailand.
Thailand is facing the most severe flooding in recent 60 years. Two thirds of the lands were affected by the flood and it has resulted in more than one million victims and countless economic losses.
Since the establishment of Trident in Thailand 10 years ago, the company always attaches great importance to the social responsibility of enterprises and has been rewarded as one of the top 100 companies that fulfill social responsibility by Thai government. It is a great relief that PCB manufacturer Trident’s plant in Thailand doesn’t be influenced by the flood. However, as social responsibility and humanitarianism are part of the corporate culture of Trident, the company decided to donate 5 million Baht to help actively implement various disaster relief and rescue operation in Thailand.
At present, the Thai government is actively helping minimize the damage caused by the flood. It is said that the affected industrial areas is expected to gradually return to work at the beginning of next year.
